Boone met with Senate Leader Harry Reid and Obama’s transition team to talk energy, the economy and how America can win the energy war. Yes, that’s Bill Gates with Boone outside the Transition Office. Gates told Boone that they would celebrate after the Pickens Plan is made into law.

Denis Says:

Boone good job! We in the Army owe Boone a big thanks for all his effort. Boone could easily sit at home, but he does not , he is out there trying to make America a better place. Just thinking about Boone's effort makes me proud to be an American. I hope the Picken's plan gets into the stimulus plan.

Ann Flaherty Says:

Boone, I second what Denis said. Great job. Thanks so much for your constant effort to keep the Pickens Plan in the forefront of our elected officials in Washington and around the country. Only in America could we get this type of movement going and growing. I would love to see this as a part of the stimulus plan to benefit every citizen throughout the country, most especially in Ohio where I live and my home state of Pennsylvania. Keep up the great work and call on your Army when you need us.

Bill Ethridge Says:

We're going to get it done!

Louis F Ovittore Jr Says:

T-Boone, You are spot on. We must get this done NOW!!! We must make Washington see the error of their ways if we not only want to eliminate our dependence on oil, but also take back and clean up our world if our children's children have any hope.

J. Michael Shampine Says:

To Whom It May Concern: I support the Pickens Plan, because I believe in it! We should have been doing this decades ago, but I'm thankful that Mr. Pickens is doing it now. I don't do anything I don't believe in, so I write to you to offer my full-time, professional services in the southern New Jersey/Philadelphia metropolitan area. I'm a victim of the recession and was laid-off last May. To date, I've submitted 143 applications for employment - all of which I'm perfectly suited - and have had only 3 interviews with nothing on the table. Formerly a secondary school and college educator and now a seasoned professional holding B.A. and M.A. degrees in education, I seek full-time, productive and rewarding employment in an industry where I can make a difference - an industry where it really matters. My skill sets are marketing, management, organization, communications, presentations, and instruction. I’m energetic, detail-oriented, results-driven, and proficient with the Internet and Microsoft office applications. Some industries where I have contributed are: • Higher and secondary education - as instructor and marketer • Advertising and printing - as marketer, awarded manager and regional representative • The Department of Defense - as manager and awarded technical writer/editor • The volunteer fire service - as fire fighter, officer, and chief. Hopefully, there is room for me in your organization. How about we get in touch? We'll never know the possibilities unless we meet. Sincerely, J. Michael Shampine

JD Meyer Says:

Let's take windmills to Afghanistan too!!! They've got a windy season.

James MacCallum Says:

That is not Billy Bob Gates III!!!

John E. Hanley Says:

Mr. Pickens, I hope as part of your conversation with President Elect Obama's Transition Team, that they asked you to be a part of any committee which may be organized to look into all these ideas and suggestions. If need be, I would be happy to offer my services and offer the point of view of an average citizen.

Mr. Pica Says:

Mr. Boone Pickens, Thank you for being a great patriot and human. Your plan has reached many and once implemented will impact positively the United States in many economic, political and environmental ways. These effects would emanate and replicate through out the world and spread so much good for the whole earth. Let me be the first on record to say, that your plan merits the Noble Peace Prize. Respectfully submitted, Mr. Pica, New Castle, PA
