Pickens Plan District Leaders

Become a Pickens Plan District Leader!

We are organizing the New Energy Army by Congressional District so we can take action locally to make energy independence for America a reality. Use the form below to find the Congressional District group in your area or click here to see a list of all District Groups.


If you are interested in being a District Leader for your Congressional District, email us at myenergy@pickensplan.com (please include your name, state and Congressional District in the body of your email).

Pickens Plan District Leaders will take action in the following ways:

  • Be the point of contact for the official Congressional District group page on Push.PickensPlan.com.
  • Work with other members of the New Energy Army in your Congressional District to sign up 500 new members.
  • Host meet-ups with other members of the Army in your Congressional District to discuss ways you can take action and Push the Pickens Plan.
  • Get an op-ed or letter to the editor placed in your local newspaper telling everyone why you support the Pickens Plan.
  • If your Governor, U.S. Senators and U.S. Representative have not yet signed the Pickens Plan Pledge , then ask them to sign today! Click here to find out if your elected officials have signed the pledge.
  • Interested District Leaders will participate in a State Leadership Team that is responsible for guiding Pickens Plan activities in their state. Click here for more information on State Leadership Team responsibilities.

Team Pickens will support District Leaders by:

  • Providing training and materials.
  • Regularly reporting on progress in each Congressional District for the entire Army to see. Click here to see a list of all District Groups and find out how your district compares to others.
  • Each District Leader will receive 1000 MyEnergy points when their district has completed the goal of recruiting 500 new members of the New Energy Army.

If you don't want to be the District Leader but still want to be involved, be sure to join the official group for your Congressional District to connect with other people in your area and receive updates.

If you have signed up new members of the New Energy Army and need to submit their information to us, you can do it one of the following ways:

  • Click here to enter the data using our online data entry form — you will receive 10 MyEnergy points for every new member you sign up using the online form. If you submit the names to us via the online entry form, then it is not necessary to also fax/mail/email the forms to us.
  • Fax the sign up forms to us at (888) 282-9754.

  • Scan and email the sign up forms to us at myenergy@pickensplan.com.
