I wish I would here more about developing more ethenol for our cars then natural gas, corn is easy to grow and we have lots of wide ope space in this country and it would put some of our big aggri- business to work rather then having the government pay them to NOT grow crops and the ethenol is even better for our planet then natural gas is, and I personally would rather look at a beautiful corn field as i drive by then an oil rig drilling for oil or natural...
I think everyone appreciate the drive and energy of Mr. Pickens. Don’t care about the money part, but I am sure anyone will wish to have that intellect and vitality at his age. The Pickens spirit is truly the stuff that America is made out of, what made this country so great. He is unique in that he still operates the old the fashion American way, he invest in real assets and resources not fly high, fiat derivatives.

But it really surprise me that he is spending Millions of Dollars on this campaign, running one that is almost as intense as running for Senate, yet all it is about, is his GAS business basically. I understand he is an oil and gas man all his life. But at his age, Mr. Pickens really needs to start working on something much bigger and promising for the future of America and Young Americans than a gas field reserves. There are Ford motor company, Hughes aircrafts and even McDonalds, hundreds of globally known names of real American pioneers that left an indelible mark on the World, not just the nation, more than a hundred years later, still famed, their real name and something about them is known the world’s over. They even made highly rated movies about some. Even Bugsy Siegel is credited for his initiative. I am sure T. Boone Pickens is as capable as the others and that is when I have to say that this campaign is either a miss-direction or plain waste of times.

Why not find 30-50 Alternative energy developers, having promising potentials and fund them to a market ready position. GAS is still a finite resource and once become in use, the demand will cause prices to escalate and Americans are back to the Start line. Why not invest in alternative technologies that are not finite, but rely on elements that are free and will be with us for as long there is life on earth. Air, Water, Fire. There are many technologies than have already been Patented, developed and suppressed that are waiting for someone like Pickens to help seed the startup company. With proper management and marketing campaign, rather than a purely political one, these new enterprises will take over the fight for change.

Relying on changing the established and well entrenched Political and Social settings or on the complacent masses to organize, is fruitless effort that will require massive resources, at the end will show negligible results. But offering a product that is ready to use now, a customer can walk to Home Depot and pick up a generator running on Compressed air for $900, unpack it, plug it and he is a free man, that sells, people will not just talk about it, they will go out and swipe the card to get it, use it. That is how industrial revolution is made, not by jabbing and getting old ladies out of Church and into Pickens talk shows, so she can mail out fliers. Westinghouse, Edison, Ford, Vanderbilt, Marconi and hundreds others did not hit the road for town hall meetings and talk shows, they paid inventors, built a production lines and sold products that people showed up, paid for it and spoke about it to friends and family, soon it is a must have in every home in America.

Please talk about energy from hydrogen released from water or hydrogen on demand. I have talked to several people in our area that have put this technology on their cars and doubled or trippled their gas mileage. This is one step towards curbing demand for imported oil. Along with more oil exploration at home and wind farms we can develop a total energy plan that is independant of all imported oil and we could hopefully be exporting energy but it is going to take new technology that changes the way that things currently operate. Oil money is currently funding most all the terrorism that is attacking our troops and our way of life. If we take the money out of OPEC we will take the money out of terrorism.
