Also in another town of Puerto Rico, call Manati there is a house that gets all electrical power from a wind meal and provides electricity to several houses. Maybe the US should keep going the crash course is going and then on the crash then the Americans are going to start believing on alternate energy source. I am in Maryland and will strongly support any efforts by Kansas to generate and transmit wind generated electricity. I\'m not sure if the power companies - retailers - only pay him 2 cents because of just mean pressure or because it\'s what they pay the other power providers / dealers. Likely just bargaining pressure. That\'s a good issue, and I\'ve thought it\'d distract from the Pickens Plan because it\'s just small scale, but now I can imagine if people had a fair shake of it there\'d be many who take advantage of it - talking about putting solar panels on roofs, wind turbines, whatever - and it would lessen the transmission load certainly, as it\'s local (complex topic to bring up casually). Putting that aside, I think Mr. Pickens is off to a good start here, and I hope he is well received at each and every town hall meeting.
