The Scene From McAlester, Oklahoma

Organizers at the Southeast Expo Center in McAlester, Oklahoma had 500 seats ready for this morning’s T. Boone Town Hall. As it turns out, that wasn’t nearly enough. So another 500 seats were brought in—and it still wasn’t enough.

All told, 1,150 people ended up crowding into the Expo Center to listen to T. Boone talk about the Pickens Plan—our biggest turnout so far.

Tomorrow it’s on to Le Mars, Iowa!

Oklahoma is an energy state, we get it. I am delighted to see how many people are supporting this man with a plan. Folks here in Oklahoma are talking about it everywhere I go.......thank heavens some one is taking the bull by the horns and just doing it instead of talking it to death... This idea is going to work! It would be nice if there were bumper stickers to pass out at these meetings as well as sent to the people who sign up.
