Sweetwater, Texas

One of the many benefits of the Pickens Plan will be economic revitalization for many parts of rural America. Wind energy means good jobs in construction and maintenance, and a new source of income for landowners.

Here’s the story of one small town that was saved by the arrival of a major wind project.

Thank you for this video the Pickens plan makes sense on so many levels, but this is video brings it h home the best. For rising families there is nothing better then small rural communities where people are spread out a little. We have all watched these lovely communities die because of the selfish choices’ our political leaders have made over the last 40 years. One of there duties under the constitution is to promote the common good. If this isn’t that I don’t know what is. If both political parties don’t get behind the Pickens plan we need to vote them all out of power.

Couldn't agree more Warner. Continuing this plan maintaining a bipartisan view is key to the plan's success. I feel both candidates stand behind the Pickens Plan and why not. If it in total will cost $1 trillion. That is 1 trillion pumped into our economy domestically. "20%" of the workers in sweetwater work to maintain and erect those turbines, that means creating jobs and boosting an economy where job losses are at its highest. Also, that 1 trillion into our economy is about what we spend as a nation in a year and a half to import oil. Best Regards guys. Keep up the good work

One more side note. WE HAVE GAINE THE ATTENTION OF THE MAYOR OF NEW YORK CITY. HE HAS HOPPED ON BOARD WITH THE PICKENS PLAN. The leader of the biggest city in the world is another asset to why this plan IS A SUCCESS
