Mr. Pickens I want to thank you for your effort on behalf of this country.
I try and talk to at least five people a day about what we are trying to do and why. I am glad to hear that you have figured out how to use us to our best advantage. All I have been able to do so fare on my own is contact my elected officials and both candidates and assure them I would never vote for any of them if they don’t get behind the Pickens Plan.
So fare no one has bothered to even reply.
I feel that you are doing is very important to the future of this country and to the future of my children and grand children any thing I can do to help I will.
Please take care of yourself you are in my prayers

Mr Pickens, How far away is the hydrogen powered car market I saw an ad to turn your car into part gas part hydrogen (using water convertion into hydrogen) on the internet. Byproduct being water vapor from exhaust pipe. How much of a problem is it to conert the sytem..? chewypls2@yahoo.com
Hopefully there is someone within the Pickens group that can investigate the "Black Ops" programs of the United States, to bring two or three of these technologies out, into the open, and get the USA off of foreign oil. Black Ops are highly classified, covert projects carried out by the military, and cover a wide range of technologies. All of our stealth aircraft, tanks, and Navy ships came out of Black Ops. Typically these activities are highly secretive; due to questionable ethics, legality and national defence. Congress and the White House know very little about these programs, yet Congress supplies the huge funds required. Black Ops is much bigger than the Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station, Peterson Air Force Base, Area 51, or the newer secret facility in Montana. Black Ops can include companies such as Raytheon and General Dynamics. If the Pickens group could convince the US Government to hand-over propulsion technologies (dare I say, anti-gravity) to the automobile industry, then we would soon be in a particularly grand position, in the world economy.
How about it, Mr. Pickens. Do you have the manpower at your disposal? Anti-gravity is there, it has been there in Black Ops for over 20 years, and is barely used today.
National defense and security is a viable approach to starting action on a project of this size and importance. The grid problems addressed by Mr. Pickens is a stumbling block but should not be used as an excuse to get started.
In fact, an inadequate grid is an excellent reason to create local based power production by whatever means in order to provide more of a failsafe plan rather than relying on a central power grid. Yes, the grid is needed for transmission and routing of power for fluctuations in production, but independence of sectors should be of greater concern. Anytime you rely on a central point, you have opened yourself up to a central failure.
I hope this is part of the plan. Start producing by renewable, home grown/fueled methods with a plan to tie them together as time and resources can be achieved. Any successful effort will reduce our dependence on outside sources and help our local economies.
The end goal should be to tie it all together to create a redundant, reliable energy source that is under our control.

Mr. Pickens...
You have posed the question in your recent add... Why aren't we doing something about converting to natural gas automobiles??? Isn't it quite simply the loss of tax revenue? Obviously our governments, state and federal, will suffer a significant loss if all Americans are able to fuel their vehicles for $4 instead of $40... In fact it is my understanding in discussing the Honda NGV with a New Jersy dealer.. That it would cost me about $4 to drive 220 miles in the Honda NGV.. If I fuel it at home. If so, that saves me about $35.. But what does it cost the government in taxes.. Sales tax= $2.10 - State and federal gas tax- about $0.40 / gal = $4.40 .. or something better than $10 on every $40 that I spend... No doubt then.. The government and the big three must be in it together???
Please advise or cover this question in some of your Town Hall meetings..
Thank You!!!
Cliff
I'm sure that the taxes will shift to CNG at filling stations. The taxes are considered "road taxes" not just gasoline tax. With diesel, they dye it for on/off road use. Not sure if they can "tag" CNG to tell if it comes from your house supply.
Mr. Pickens you have my full support. I thank your big effort to save our country from oil dependence (be it foreign or national). I emailed my representatives already about your plan.
