Nice presentation by both Rahm Emanuel and Mr. Pickens at the Chicago Town Hall meeting, I was happy to see so many people attend and happier still to see that the press covered it as well. I watched several different news reports that evening and it was a top story, as it should be, on the stations I watched. The press needs to get up to speed on this issue and start to ask all elected officials tough questions on energy.

I would like to be able to order a PickensPlan.com sign for my yard during this political season. Energy is an issue that effects all American\'s no matter who your going to vote for. I think yard signs would be a great way to help get the message out and my guess is you would see them next to McCain and Obama signs...

It would be refreshing to see either or both candidates running for President endorse the Pickens Plan. It would be a bold and decisive move and give confidence to the market that something would be done and soon. I don\'t understand why they are ignoring more than a million voters, especially since I don\'t think either one has a comprehensive plan that could be put into action now.

I would like to see the government spend some of the 700 billion on upgrading the electrical grid, which would generate jobs, instead of lending it to institutions that are not lending it to one another and certainly they are not lending it to the American people or small business owners.

As an American I am so ready to do something positive. Thank you Mr. Pickens for bringing focus to the energy crisis.

Have you met yet with Senator Biden? Maybe we need to flood the candidates with emails! If we can pull \"The Plan\" off, it will leave you with a terrific legacy.
