Mr Boone

With the economy in deterioration like happened over 75 years ago the building of the energy transmission corridors might be a 21st century version of the CCC. We could get a lot of people back on their financial feet and create something very useful at the same time.

I sure did not see any specifics on a committment from either candidate tonight. McCain seemsd to be for the nuke option - there will be a new reactor built near my home in central Florida. The issues that must be surmounted regarding even small things like site access (such as restoring a previously abandoned railroad right of way) will take years to overcome. Wind energy should present far less of these kind of problems.

Mr. Pickens,

The blogs are lining up against the Plan. Among the reasons are the limited participants allowed in on the investment side. I believe that the army can play a greater role if they are allowed to. I wanted to invest in the project development side. I looked up Picken\'s company site. I was stoped at the door because I dont have the minimum $5 MIL needed to get in with that group. I know it\'s difficult to manage lots of small investors. But if you really want to enlist your army to help, open the door to them to invest in the power developments. Dont just use them to accomplish your goals. Make them part of those goals.

I offer my services to manage those small accounts. Dont exclude virtually every one of those army members because they dont have $5 MIL. Let them in and really vest them in the concept. Mr. Pickens, you have my number. Call me.

Boone - you keep it up - can\'t wait for a natural gas outlet in my garage!!! I just get sick every time I fill up my little car. Do you know, I had to give up my big, beautiful F150 Lariat last year (glad it was last year and not this year!) cause I couldn\'t afford to drive it any longer. Had to buy a little Subaru Baja - kind of does the job, but nothing like the truck I could take to the theater.

Oh Yea - I'm a 68 year, little old lady, hoping my pension survives and the economy gets it's act together - with your plan, and some bright minds in Washington, we just might see it in my lifetime. I sure hope so.
