more info please on how we can get our states to move to natural gas for the
consumer for our cars....we know the change over for cars need not be costly, what can
we do to get stations to pump natural gas available ? Think of the money not sent
to foreign governments...spent in our country...we will put our country back to work by
changing our auto s to natural gas....we need everyone that feels that this is the most
critical change needed now...to band together ...Is there one special group now in
Pickens Plan that is just working on natural gas for transportation? Nancy

The NBC \"Meet The Press\" interview and the other media interviews have been great.
The Pickens Plans say it all, past, present and future.

Mr. Pickens,
I caught you on Meet the Press this morning. I do hope you are able to make the financial numbers work for the wind turbines. When the turbines begin to go up, it will send a strong signal to the country that we are moving forward with alternative energy sources and that it\'s not just talk. I look forward to seeing the turbines go up.
I own a totally electric vehicle dealership. Times are tough right now. I am dealing with the same sales challenges that other car dealers are dealing with at this time except I have the added challenge of low gas prices. I will most likely lose money on my business this winter. I make less than 50k a year so keeping my business going through this period is going to hurt, but I believe I am making a difference. Every electric vehicle I sell is moving proof that it is possible drastically reduce our dependence on foreign oil imports. My family has cut our gasoline consumption by 95 percent in the past year by driving electric cars. Our vehicles would not work for everyone, but they are a starting point. They are tires on the road that do not require foreign oil and I believe that is a good thing.
It’s something I feel I have to have to do as an American. I can’t sit out this dance when I know I can make a difference, even if it hurts a bit. I did not come to this dance watch others dance, I came to dance and to be seen dancing. I am doing just that. I will not give up, I am just starting.
Your plans for the wind turbines have been an inspiration to me. I can’t wait to take my children to see the turbines that you build. It will be quite a sight to see.

I was hoping the MTP interview would be more in-depth. A point brought up that I hadn\'t considered is that a barrel of oil is at the $60 mark, how will this adversely afect the plan? Let\'s face facts, once we as Americans see that X is back to a more manageable level we feel that the crisis is over.

Boone,

I saw you on Meet the Press.
You have to bring up the point that an 18 wheeler cannot be powered by electricity more and more. And that natural gas is the only available American energy source to power the 18 wheeler. Also the fact that the federal and state government must mandate that the switch to natural gas. Also the fact that natural gas is much cheaper that gas or diesel.
