<description>We have been trying to help people who have been affected more than others by the high cost of fuel last summer. Native Americans living in rural Alaska contracted their entire supply of winter fuel at all-time high prices. Then an early freeze prevented it from being delivered by barge so now it must all be flown in.

We are sending flat rate boxes of food and requesting donations for fuel to help get them through the winter. We are also working to help them find long term solutions to causes of this year\'s crisis

These areas are extremely windy and would be a terrific place to illustrate how wind power can not only save resources, it can change lives. These people are so busy trying to feed their families and heat their homes, that they are letting their proud customs and traditions slip away.

Maybe your plan could help them.
