This is good news for the Pickens Plan and a compromise. The senator\'s loyalties are to Las Vegas and Nevada Casinos, clean renewable energy and cheap water, not to agricultural and small businesses at the foundation of healthy living and great place to retire. Solar power projects will alter the Mojave desert landscape. Pickens Army should be concerned about the Stiumulus time line, and the negative short-term negative impact on the US Ecomomy. Manufacturing comprises about 70% of the jobs with close to 80% of manufacturers located overseas, and China exporting all the solar cells it manufactures.

I wouldn\'t trust Harry Reid for a moment. He is on your side on this just so he can suck us in and then clobber us with tons of unneccessary spending. Such as his high speed rail from Disneyland to Vegas. Who the hell needs that, its only a three to four hour drive as it is. He will criple oil production as well. Yes we still need oil. If for nothing else but to get off foriegn oil and all plastic goods that are made from it.
I love the idea that wind and solar can do it all but it will be a long time until that could come to pass, so lets not think that oil and natural gas are yesterdays fuels, lets just understand that we can consume much less in the future hopefully someday getting away from at least 90% of it.
Back to Harry, just be careful you you lie next to!!!

I believe that any \'tarp plan aid\' extended to any car manufacturer should include requirements to build smaller, more energy efficient vehicles. I hear that GM is closing out Saturn. It\'s the only \'good car\' they ever built. Why do they always go back to big and bigger. Does \'bigger\' mean more profit.
(ps. In para 5 you meant to say if we can\'t get that power to the East and West coasts... ) Barbara Dahms

The best ad to date! Clear presentation of ideas, progressing to a conclusion with a closing line that should resonate with all Americans! Mr. Pickens, as your plan has progressed, so has your ability to communicate it effectively, ever more charmingly straight-forward.

<b>In the spirit of Obama, let us think beyond ourselves. For our community, country and climate: Now is the time to drive less. Be a Patriot - put away the car keys!

Please answer these questions below, thanks!

A friend of mine emailed me his thoughts about MPG50, how would you respond to his conclusions? I am still interested in getting the Obama administration, as well as the 111Th Congress to establish a national energy policy that would increase gas mileage to our vehicles, by adding additional mixtures of fuel additives and a natural gas distribution system to our neighborhood gas station pumps in America? MILEAGE TESTS

FACTORS TO CONSIDER FOR ACCURATE MILEAGE TESTING OF MPG50
