Hey Army!

Two new things I want to share with you.  First, I’m going to be on Bill Maher’s show tonight which airs at 10 pm ET on HBO.  If you miss that one, you can check your listings and see when it will be replayed.

Second, we have a new ad which will start running on Sunday, but I want you to have an advance look.

We’re making real progress in Washington.  If you haven’t seen the entry on the Pickens Plan blog about Sen. Harry Reid introducing legislation to get the new 21st Century grid started, you should go there right after you watch the new ad.

I thought the Maher appearance was disrepectful and didn't give Mr. Pickens a chance to really show his "stuff". How can such a libral skank like Maher have such a show and infuence? I'm dumbfounded by the situation we saw that night. Has anyone had any success accessing group meetings at church's or some other forums like City Council meetings or anything of the like to actually get to a podium to ask what our communities are doing about our immediate energy needs and the crisis just ahead? Let me know for I am willing and able to present some compelling language regarding how all things are connected and we can gain a great many of our liberties back if we can gain energy independance! I think that Bill Maher in general can be offensive to the population of Educated people who want to support us. We have to find a better Venue, I see Bill Maher on anything and I change channels. Mr. Pickens is strong and convincing in any forum but WE need to look for better ways to gather support not make people think that Mr. Pickens has to state our cause on a program such as that. Mr. Pickems can go head to head against anyone, let's not lower the standards. Leslie RIghtmire
