This morning, Boone was in Chicago to speak at the WINDPOWER 2009 Conference & Exhibition, put on by the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA). The United States has the best wind power in the world and Boone talked about the critical need for Congress to pass legislation to institute a national
RES (Renewable Electricity Standard) and create a national smart grid to carry that energy to market.
