ON the initiative of vehicles powered by Natural Gas , a solution to the largest deterrent to CNG conversion, CNG refueling stations, is right in our pockets, the cell-phone. Soon the majority of cellular wireless phones and PDAs (one billion worldwide by 2013) will be equipped with navigation technology (GPS, terrestrial based location, etc). Cellular navigation applications can provide the nearest CNG refilling station, as well as a CNG station to CNG station mapping for long hauls, if they are expeditiously added to the POI mapping database. Just good clean, green, wholesome, health -- in body, mind, and spirit.
