How will the health and water concerns be addressed regarding Fracturing, needed to release the shale gas? This a serious concern and is being swept under the rug as far as the gas companies are concerned.

Yes, I will support legislation in favor of natural gas tax credits. Natural gas will indeed be the
transition from gasoline to electric.

Browse this: HHO gas generation in cars trucks. This is NOT a scam: HHO gas is successfully augmenting gasoline, ethanol, and diesel fuels. It can be used to \'stretch\' CNG and LPG also
as the mileage improvement is from 30% to over 100% in some vehicles! Think of paying a
buck or less [effectively] for a \'gallon-equivalent\' of CNG and getting almost twice the mile-
age as well!..This application needs to be proven and the modest-costing equipment [about
$30-50-cheapest; $80-150-highest] made available to ALL internal-combustion cars, trucks,
industrial engines, boats, farm and construction/maintenance machinery! Find out! Prove it
beyond doubt! Harvest \'highway-hay\' and \'green algae\' bigtime and distill/refine in regional
plants--keep it local, keep it cheap! Screw Big Oil, OPEC, and SPECULATORS! We made it in
The War without bigshots, gamblers, enemies--we can do it again! Stop using straight petro
fuel!..Aaron Allen..

Keep pushing forward! We need to contact the committee members and tell them to proceed. In the House, HR 1835 is sitting is sitting with the following committees:

House Ways and Means - Chairman: Charles Rangel (D-NY15)
House Oversight and Government Reform - Chairman: Ed Towns (D-NY10)
House Science and Technology - Chairman: Barton Gordon [D-TN6]
House Science and Technology, Subcommittee on Energy and Environment

I am not sure what number is assigned to the Senate version, but you can lookup information on any piece of legislation at http://www.govtrack.us.

Nancy, hang in there. The price of Natural Gas is extremely low right now, because there is so much production and not nearly the demand. When NY does finally allow for Natural Gas drilling, the market should be better.

I wonder if any of this is worth it. Our gas coalitions in NY have ben trying in vain to get gas drilling in NYS for 2 years in the Marcellus Shale among other deposits but the state government is standing in the way. They will not let the gas co\'s horizontally drill in this state. They can vertically drill. We are dying a slow poor death here while just across the border in Pennsylvania gas co\'s can drill just fine- and they are! What a boost for our local economies and our country\'s economy to get the million\'s of mgc\'s of gas out of the ground here. No, instead it will just sit there while the state government argues over who runs the Senate much less what is passed in it. Utterly rediculous! We have been told that our coalitions are not doing enough to pass or should I say get our voices heard in the state legislature. Last time I knew, they worked for us. I know I have emailed them letters and people I know have done the same with the \"complimentary service email\" in return. I don\'t think anyone actually reads any of them. This is the reason, I fear, emailing or calling the offices of any of my \"representatives\" will actually do any real good. I am sorry. Nancy
