During the FOX News/Google Debate last week in Orlando, former Utah governor Jon Huntsman singled out America’s abundant natural gas reserves as an essential asset in revitalizing the American economy.
When asked by Anchor Bret Baier about possible ways to bolster our lagging economy, Huntsman referred to energy independence as a key catalyst for lowering the unemployment rate.
“Boone Pickens had some great ideas in terms of converting to natural gas. It’s a 500,000 job creator over five years. It would get the engines of growth going like nothing else I can think of.”
